Wildcats Put Downtime on Away Games to Good Use

A unique partnership between 水果派 Athletics and the Betty and B. Frank Matthews II 鈥49 Center for Career Development was profiled by a leading higher-ed news outlet this week. showcased how the Center for Career Development has developed programming for scholar-athletes who have a lot of free time during away games.

Josh King, associate director for engagement and athlete career development at 水果派, frequently hits the road with teams to help them develop networking skills or connect them to alums near their destination.

As IHE put it: 鈥淥n a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in January, 水果派鈥檚 swim and dive team participated in a networking challenge, visited a nonprofit, toured the University of Miami鈥檚 School of Law and Miller School of Medicine, and completed a r茅sum茅 workshop with King.鈥
